Product description
GHK-Cu (copper-binding tripeptide) – research peptide for skin repair and cell regeneration
Overview
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide that is being intensively studied for its potential in skin repair, collagen synthesis, and cell rejuvenation. It is widely used in preclinical and laboratory settings for studies on wound healing, aging, and hair prediction.
Features & Benefits (under research)
- Supports the stimulation of collagen production and promotes skin structure
- Possible role in wound healing, elasticity and scar reduction
- Being studied for stimulation of hair follicles and regeneration of skin cells
- Has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties in laboratory models
- Widely used in cosmetic-dermatological research
- Possible synergy with other peptides in skin rejuvenation experiments
Mechanism of action
GHK-Cu binds copper ions and functions as a signaling molecule for cell communication, repair, and regeneration. It activates gene expression involved in anti-aging, immune regulation, and repair processes. Scientific models have shown that it can stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.
Preparation & stability
- Supplied as a lyophilisate (dry powder)
- Must be dissolved in a suitable solvent, e.g., bacteriostatic water. We provide this.
- After and before dissolving, keep refrigerated (2–8 °C)
- Shelf life after solution: up to approx. 60 days (depending on solution and storage conditions)
Purity & quality assurance
Each batch of GHK-Cu is tested for purity and sterility. Only peptides with ≥ 99% purity (tested by independent parties) are supplied. A certificate of analysis (COA) is included.
